Swine Flu Alert Part III

     I have covered the facts in a basic format in my last two "Alerts" regarding the "Swine Flu". I know that this information helped many of our Silver Inner Health Circle™ members gain a more "realistic" understanding of this condition. I hope that I helped dispel some of the misconceptions that you may have had about H1N1, as well as some of the misinformation that is being circulated about this condition by the media. Now it is time for you to understand what measures you must take to see that your bout will be as short lived and minimally intrusive as mine was. First I need to share some information that is pertinent to all of you but particularly to our "Senior" Inner Health Circle™ members. I know that many of you have heard that "All Seniors Are at a High Risk, and Therefore Must Have the Swine Flu Vaccine (as soon as this poorly tested vaccine comes on the market)". You will be the test animals!  Well gang nothing could be further from the truth!!! You see unlike the seasonal flu, the H1N1/"Swine Flu" does not appear to create the complications in adults 64 years of age and older as are seen in individuals 60 years of age and younger. It appears that this may be due to the fact that these individuals may have some natural immunity to this viral strain. This is according to CDC statistics. It appears, also according to the CDC, that no children and very few adults under age 60 years have existing antibodies to the H1N1 flu virus. As is always the case "Natural Immunity" is the best. In other words, as with all disorders such as this one exposure creates lifetime lasting immunity.
 
     Let's move on to what you need to do to prepare yourself for this condition. First and foremost, for all of you who have followed my teachings for years now you have had a chance and the time to ready your bodies for this assault. You have been practicing the "Four Pillars of Health" that I preach non-stop. You must "Eat Right". The "Paleolithic Diet" is the key, with grains reduced significantly or eliminated completely.  You must also incorporate  lots of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, fish and chicken into your diet. The next thing that you must also do is to begin to "Think Right". Get rid of the "Stinkin Thinkin". Stop watching the news, and forgive those you need to so you stop hurting yourself. Next you need to "Move Right". Watch for Kim's next addition to our Newsletter and start doing it! Start out by walking, stretching, and taking the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator. Get Moving! You also need to "Sleep Right". I know that for some of you this seems like a virtual impossibility, but you need to practice a few simple procedures that will help. First of all no coffee, at least from noon on. No violent TV shows or movies before bed, and once again no news before bed. Make sure that your bedroom is "light free". This means that shades are drawn, no charging cell phones with bright LCD displays illuminated, and certainly no night lights. Watch for more "Sleep Rights" in future "Health Hints" Newsletters. These are the "Basics" for all of our Silver Inner Health Circle™ members.
 
     Here is what the CDC recommends that you do to avoid the "Swine Flu". The first thing they say you should to is cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Hopefully those around you will do the same. Wash your hands often with soap and warm water. You can also use an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Try to avoid close contact with those who are sick. In contrast to this, many in the alternative health world preach just the opposite and are holding "Swine Flu Parties". Now this one the CDC definitely doesn't condone publicly. This philosophy is very similar to practices years ago when a neighborhood child became ill with one of the "normal childhood illnesses" such as mumps or measles. The other mothers in the area would send their children to "visit the ill child so that their child would get the condition. This sounds so foreign to many today, but you need to understand these Moms knew that in this way their children would get sick for a short period of time when the family could "plan for the illness", and then the child would have "Lifetime Immunity". That is something that can't be said for any inoculation today. That's why kids get "booster shots".
 
     The CDC also recommends that you avoid others for 24 hours after your fever breaks in order to avoid infecting others (unless they want to be infected). This is another reason why if you are trying to avoid the "Swine Flu" you should avoid crowds. You need to be aware that many who contract this condition will either not realize that it was the "Swine Flu" or they just won't be as conscientious as you are.
 
    These are the facts so far. I hope that you will realize the realities about this condition and please try hard not to get caught up in the "Media Hype" about "the deadly Swine Flu/H1N1 Epidemic". While I try not to be cynical about health care, you must realize that there is a lot of money to be made on this "disease".

     How did I get through it in 1 1/2 days? Well the first thing I did was prepare. For you to prepare I am recommending that you begin immediately doing what I and the CDC have recommended above, and also that you begin supplementing with vitamins A, D, C, and Zinc. To some that may sound like a lot, and it can be, but I will let you in on a little secret that many of my patients have known for years. I have used a supplement in my office for about 20 years to help my patients prevent or fight colds, and flu. This one supplement contains everything that you need to help reduce the likelihood that you will deal with a severe case. Now as you all know nothing is fool proof, but as I have said before, you need to reduce the possibility that you will acquire this condition, and improve the function of your immune system so that should you acquire it you can fight it off well.
 
      The supplements I am recommending to all of my patients to help them prepare their bodies as much as possible are Vitamin D and Probotic RTZ. The Probotic RTZ contains Vitamins A, C and Zinc all in one supplement in sufficient quantities. I recommend that you use 3 per day for the remainder of the season. Along with this I am recommending 1600 I.U. of Vitamin D. Our Vitamin D contains 800 I.U. per tablet, so 2 per day.
