As many of you know my Dad "transitioned" in April of last year. He was a combat veteran of WWII. I remember listening to many of his stories of what he had been through during that time of his young life (he enlisted at age 17). I have passed many of those stories along to our two sons over the years.
We are now losing 1000 of these brave men and women every day who gave so much for each and every one of us. I received this brief video from Silver Inner Health Circle™ member John K. (thanks John), and I have to say that it brought a tear to my eye as I watched it. I actually felt just as I did the day that I was able to accompany my Dad to the opening ceremonies of the Battleship Museum: USS New Jersey. He received VIP tickets to the ceremonies since he had served in combat on that vessel. I remember seeing the pride in his face as he walked the decks that he had strode some 60 years prior.
I hope that you will all take a few minutes to watch this brief video in tribute to these Great Men and Women.
I would also like to ask one last favor of you as well, if you see anyone wearing a uniform, a VFW cap or any other indication that they have served to protect and preserve our Freedom please take a moment toThank Them. Believe me even though it may seem a little awkward to you at first, this "Think Right" will make not only the "receiver" but the "sender" of the message feel Great!
To any of our members reading this who served for us I would like to say "Thank You, your service is Greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Dr. Pfeiffer
